For 12-year-old Anna, her Make-A-Wish experience marked the end of a long, hard road and the beginning of a bright, new future. “We began the trip as an oncology family; at the end, we were simply a family having fun and enjoying each other's company,” said her mom. “It was Anna’s first ‘normal’ experience in over eight months.”
Anna’s wish took her on a cruise to the Bahamas. From the airplane cockpit tour to the relaxing time on the warm sand, her mom said everything about the trip made them all feel special.
