Hi,

Hope you are doing well!

Operation Vasantha has been impacting the lives of disadvantaged rural children since 2009.This highly interactive and empowering initiative addresses the problem of school dropouts. It also aims to educate families on the importance of education and engage dropouts by helping them in their studies and other children through interactive activities, fun learning sessions. These activities include parents counselling, health and hygiene camps and education on ecology.

Local college students are trained and given support from Agastya to teach children in their villages. These individuals willingly spend their evenings educating and inspiring weaker students and school dropouts from their villages.

Special Activities

  • Parents Meetings: - Kodathanapalli & Beggillipalli OV center conducted the parents meeting on 19/1/2016.and discussed about the personality developments in their children’s, and improving studies, curriculum activities and human values.
  • Operation Vasanta Trainings:  There were 2 operation vasanta trainings were conducted in kuppam science center. First training conducted on 2nd of January-2016 as per January schedule. And other on is on 3rd of January -2016 for next month February-2016 schedule.   
  • On 6th January 2016 Sanganapalli and Peddagollapalli OV centers was visited by 15 teachers from U.S.A. 
  • Celebrated Independence Day.    
  • On 25th Sonnarsanapalli and Peddagollapalli OV centers visited by 60 students from Lead Prayana. There were really impressed very well given valuable message on human values and moral.
  • On 22ndMarch 2017 Sirigiripalli Ov center were visited by 35 teachers from Orissa. The students and OV volunteer interacted with them and explained them about OV program.
  • On 12th March 2017 Peddagollapalli Ov students celebrated OV annual Day and conducted essay writing competition and distributed prices for the winners.
  • Celebrated Ugadi festival on 29th March 2017 in OV centers.
