Construction has begun!!!! On October 11, 2021 our community woke up to excavators on site and our community and students excitement began!! They shared so many positive videos, pictures and messages that Maddie's Field House has begun! They all worked so hard to get to this day, despite the pandemic, all in honor of their fallen soccer and lacrosse captain and overall inspiration who died in front of them on 9/23/17 due to an unknown brain aneurysm. A true example of what a community from all different backgrounds and socioeconomic status can accomplish when they work TOGETHER!
11/26/21 - Forms are in place, plumbing has started and the visual of this long awaited building is evident!! Though we have raised over $860,000, our original estimated costs/bids, the pandemic has increased our pricing to nearly 1.3 million. Maddie's community isnt about to let this falter! We continue to persevere in "All ways Maddie" to complete this building for all that has worked so hard and earned this! Can't wait to see the final result!
