During festive seasons dedicated to family reunions and shared meals, many vulnerable families in remote areas still struggle just to secure their next meal. To extend the joy of the holidays further, the Careus Tainan Sheltered Workshop launched a warmth-delivery fundraising drive, creating a cycle of goodwill centered on "self-reliance" and "sharing".
Through subscriptions made via the Careus Foundation's e-commerce platform, retail stores, or convenience store channels across Taiwan, this support first transforms into employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. Every meal, from ingredient preparation and baking to packaging, embodies the results of their day-to-day diligent practice. For them, this is not merely a job, but a source of dignity and pride, proving they possess specialized skills and can contribute to society.
Once collected, these delicious meals handmade by the participants are precisely distributed to vulnerable families in remote areas through resource integration and collaboration with community units. Although it may simply be a snack or prepared food, on resource-scarce dining tables, it becomes a pillar of strength helping them get through difficult times.
Thanks to your participation, these individuals gain stable work motivation, while families in need enjoy a comforting taste. In this season full of love, you are sincerely invited to join the fundraising campaign. One act of kindness delivers twofold warmth; let us use this unceasing love to protect every family in need.
