Dear Supporter,
The Abandoned Babies program is really close to our hearts as it supports vulnerable babies who need the care and love they deserve.
Our experience from working on this program has taught us the importance of keeping families together and supporting them when it is needed.
In many cases, families are forced to abandon their children because they cannot cope financially or they need support. From counselling to appointing a psychologist or a social worker, we are helping families overcome their problems and stay together.
Our partner Children’s Hearts Ukraine holds parents support meetings(image). During the meetings, parents can discuss their concerns and fears but also see that there are others in similar situations. The Centre has been supporting families for years and continues to.
Through our partners, we are also supporting families of children with disabilities. Children with special needs are often abandoned by their parents at the hospital or Institutions, as there is still a lack of specialized services and stigma around disability. Very often, parents feel that they have no choice but to give up a child. As the war rages, more children and babies with disabilities are left behind. We are supporting families with disabled children with food parcels, clothes and support groups. ( image)
With your kind support we are changing the life of families in need, babies and children.
Thank you for making our work possible.
With gratitude
