Little Steps, Big Futures, Child Education

This month we have provided meals for over 2,100 children who attend the 3x preschools we have built in the remotest of rural villages in Eastern Region Ghana, West Africa. 

The meals we provided are a small cog in a much bigger program of early years education aimed at increasing the learning population of villages. We offer the meals as a hook to attract parents to bring their children into education. In addition children who have been through our preschool stand a much better chance once they leave us and join the Kindergarten as part of their main primary school education. Headmaster are now offfering places in the Kindergarten once to children who have already attended preschool because the children come with a basic understanding of reading and writing and have already been exposed to a learning environment.
