Little Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian bright beginning

Our little ones in the Little Roma Ashkali Bright Beginning project continue to inspire us every day with their creativity, energy, and bright smiles

During a recent activity, they took part in a beautiful and colorful workshop where each child had the opportunity to express their imagination in a unique way. With great dedication, patience, and love, the children created special hearts using different materials, decorating them with multicolored flowers made by their own hands Each heart was different—just like the children themselves: unique, creative, and full of potential.

This activity was not only a fun moment, but also an important opportunity for their emotional and social development. Through group work, they learned how to collaborate, share ideas with one another, and respect each other’s creations. At the same time, they expressed their feelings through art, building confidence and feeling proud of what they created.

Moments like these are essential for healthy child development, especially for children who face different challenges in their daily lives. Through creative activities, we aim to provide a safe space where they can learn, explore, and dream freely.

In the neighborhood 28 and 29  where cold arrives early and lingers long, at our center where warmth never fades. Every morning, despite the cold or winds, Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian children arrive with big smiles, ready for a day filled with hope, safety, and love.

These cold days have made the work of the “Little Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Bright Beginning” project even more important. The project provides educational and developmental activities for kindergarten-age children — a crucial step toward equal opportunities that many of them would not have otherwise.

In the warm classrooms of the center, the children learn through play, sing, draw, and explore the world with endless curiosity. A favorite activity these days has been “My Happy Winter,” where the children created bright, colorful drawings, turning winter from cold to magical. They also took part in cooperative games that help them build friendships and confidence — two precious gifts for their future.

For many of these children, Azure Learning Center is the only place where they feel safe, welcomed, and encouraged to dream. Our educator greet them with open arms every day, offering not only lessons but also love, care, and emotional stability.
