One of the most exciting parts of childhood is discovering the world through new experiences, and recently our kindergarten children had the opportunity to do just that during a special visit to Pishat e Sllatinës.
For many of the children attending our programmes, opportunities to spend time in nature are limited. This trip gave them the chance to step outside their daily routine, breathe fresh air, explore the natural environment, and learn through hands-on experiences. From the moment they arrived, their excitement was evident as they ran among the trees, observed the plants around them, and eagerly shared their discoveries with their friends and teachers.
The day was filled with activities designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and teamwork. The children enjoyed painting outdoors, using the beautiful surroundings as inspiration for their artwork. They also participated in a variety of games that encouraged cooperation, movement, and confidence-building. Laughter echoed through the park as the children played together, made new memories, and strengthened friendships.
Beyond the fun and excitement, these experiences play an important role in children's development. Outdoor learning helps children build social skills, improve communication, develop creativity, and strengthen their connection with the world around them. It also provides valuable opportunities for children to learn through exploration and play—an essential part of early childhood education.
Seeing the joy on the children's faces throughout the day was a powerful reminder of why these activities matter. For a few hours, they were able to focus on being children: exploring, imagining, creating, and enjoying the simple happiness of spending time together in nature.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our GlobalGiving donors whose generosity made this activity possible. Your support allows us to provide enriching educational experiences that go beyond the classroom and create lasting positive memories for the children we serve.
Because of you, our youngest learners are not only receiving educational support—they are also experiencing the joy of discovery, building confidence, and creating memories that will stay with them for years to come.
Thank you for investing in their childhood, their learning, and their future.
