Moving Mountains together for Domestic Violence Survivors

What does momentum look like? In January, we reached out to 520 governments and organisations: 320 domestic violence organisations, 200 government departments, 5 regional info sessions in 3 languages. We upgraded Sophia's AI model, put her in the hands of survivors on WhatsApp, and shipped 5 new products in 10 days. Our Founder taught judges, human rights defenders, and everyday people how to become more AI literate and use it responsibly. Our team presented Sophia to law enforcement and police in Switzerland. And we picked up an award or two along the way.

This is what a movement in motion looks like.

Our 2026 milestones so far:

  • Introduced Sophia to 520 organisations and governments across 200+ countries
  • Sophia is now on WhatsApp — reaching survivors where they already are
  • Sophia's AI model has been upgraded — faster, smarter, more responsive
  • Sophia has now enabled 51,000+ conversations across 182 countries
  • 1,184 local services mapped and counting
  • 5 new products shipped in 10 days: Sophia Plugin, Scaling Platform, ACTivists Hub, Grant Studio, and Comeback CatZ
  • Our Founder was awarded the She Shapes AI Award — AI Wildcard category
  • Our Founder appointed UN Women AI School Expert Lecturer, teaching 70+ human rights defenders across 5 continents
  • Our Founder’s class on AI and justice with Oxford University is now available to 100,000 judges worldwide
  • We launched AI literacy courses open to all — with more sessions on the way

None of this happens without you. Every donation, every introduction, every share is a brick in a road that someone, somewhere, will one day walk to safety. Thank you for making this quarter possible.

Looking ahead, Q2 brings further improvements to Sophia, new organisational partnerships, and exciting new projects in the pipeline.
