Little by Little we can End Domestic Violence

During the past few months, Sophia broke ground. We took Sophia into rooms where policy is shaped. Rhiana met with some of the most influential voices in AI, gender justice, and international policy. We stood at an improvised exhibition stand at the OECD Forum on Gender Equality and spoke directly with government representatives, organisations, and decision-makers from across the world. We attended the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva and the Global Dialogue on AI Governance. We showed up at the Women's Strike in Switzerland. Wherever the conversation about the future was happening, we were in it.

Our milestones:

• Set up an exhibition stand at the OECD Forum on Gender Equality — connecting with government representatives, organisations, and global contacts
• Attended the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva and the Global Dialogue on AI Governance
• Rhiana held meetings with highly influential leaders across AI, policy, and gender justice
•  Published an article raising awareness of the rising rates of domestic violence reports with every football game, in the context of the FIFA World Cup
• Activated a volunteer movement — our ACTivists are spreading the word about Sophia across their networks
• Organised fundraising events with our volunteers across borders
• Launched a crowdfunding campaign to fuel the next chapter of our mission
• Accepted into Giving Women's Project Circles — strengthening our fundraising strategy and long-term sustainability
• Delivered presentations and talks championing Sophia and survivor-centred tech
• Attended the Women's Strike in Switzerland — standing with the movement, not just for it

Every connection made this period is a door that could open for a survivor. Every room we entered, we entered on their behalf.

We will not pretend the landscape is easy. This year, we lost our biggest funder. We are not alone in that. Across the world, women's rights organisations are facing devastating funding cuts — programmes shuttered, teams reduced, life-changing work halted. Sophia keeps running because people like you believe she should.
