Happy Holiday Friends,
Our food program isn’t just about providing a warm meal, it’s a time of fellowship and community. Every day when we take our chai break or lunch break our artisans get to connect with each other. Learn more about one another diving deeper into their family lives and help encourager each other. We love that our artisans can worry less about their next meal and focus more on supporting their children. As our artisans learn to budget and save their weekly earnings, they are empowered knowing that they can cover their house expenses and their children’s school tuition.
Before joining the Imani Collective family most of our artisans struggled to provide for their families most of which had no job and living below $1.90 every day. There weren’t many job opportunities available and they often sold fruit for mere pennies a day. This made it hard to provide shelter, food, and education for their families.
Imani Collective is a leading organization that provides employment opportunities, skills training, + holistic support programs that help artisans reach economic independence. We are so thankful for your support this year. Please consider donating to help empower more communities in Kenya through our holistic support programs.
