Dear friends,
As I'm writing to you, the authorities in Vietnam have extended lockdown for 2 more weeks, while the medical system across Vietnam is in fatigue. Until the fourth Covid-19 wave reached its peak, the NPOs supporting the most vulnerable groups are still facing many levels of risk.
However, many individuals from rural to urban have joined hands against all odds to support the people in need. Not all heroes wear capes, and we want you to know that you are one of them!
In the last quarter, your contributions have made huge impacts on the Covid-19 Response Community Fund so that LIN could launch the third round of grant allocation for the next group of nonprofits who are thriving through the pandemic time.
The social impact of your contributions can see clearly through the story of Ai Linh Love School - a school for special children living in poverty or with disabilities and also one of our grantees.
Back in August 2020, funding wages for teachers faced a huge shortage. Staff reduction and students dropping out became their top concerns. After submitting the proposal to the Covid-19 Fund, they successfully granted 50 million VND with facilitation from our LIN team. This amount helped them to:
Thanks to your great support, the people of Ai Linh Love school now have achieved a stable state and have enough power to continue their meaningful journey.
From our side, we have received many compliments on the effectiveness of such a leading project in crisis response. That highly motivated us to set up for the 3rd funding round. Along with your donations, we are confident at distributing funds to at least ten more NPOs in this round. Soon, the latest proposal will be within your reach in the story section.
Until then, please stay safe and uplifting!
With gratitude,
