Limbs of Hope: Restoring Mobility, Building the Future
We are pleased to inform our supporters that the project has recently been updated and transitioned to the new initiative, Limbs of Hope: Restoring Mobility, Building the Future, which aims to provide prosthetic limbs, mobility assistive devices, rehabilitation services, and psychosocial support for conflict-affected persons with disabilities and amputees in Idlib Governorate, Syria.
During this initial phase, our team has been focusing on project preparation and coordination activities. We are currently developing the beneficiary registration database and establishing the criteria and procedures for selecting eligible beneficiaries. At the same time, we are preparing the donation and fundraising materials needed to support the implementation of the project and secure the resources required to deliver services.
In the coming weeks, we will launch beneficiary registration and assessment activities, which will include medical, functional, psychosocial, and social evaluations to identify the specific rehabilitation needs of each participant. The project plans to support 1,000 direct beneficiaries through prosthetic services, mobility devices, physiotherapy, psychosocial support, and referrals to livelihood opportunities whenever possible.
We appreciate the continued support of our donors and partners. Your contributions will help restore mobility, dignity, and hope for persons with disabilities and amputees affected by conflict.
Thank you for standing with us.
