Limbs of Hope is a project that aims to restore mobility and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and amputations in northern Syria by providing prosthetic limbs, mobility assistive devices, rehabilitation services, and psychosocial support. The project also connects beneficiaries with essential services and sustainable recovery opportunities, fostering independence, social inclusion, and hope for a better future.
People with disabilities and amputees in Jabal al-Zawiya, Idlib, face limited access to prosthetic, rehabilitation, and psychosocial support services, reducing their mobility, independence, and social inclusion. The project addresses this gap through comprehensive and sustainable rehabilitation support.
The Limbs of Hope project will provide prosthetic limbs, mobility aids, rehabilitation, and psychosocial support to 1,000 people with disabilities and amputations in Jabal al-Zawiya, helping them regain mobility, independence, and hope for a better future.
The project will create lasting change by enabling people with disabilities and amputations to regain mobility, independence, and dignity. Improved access to prosthetic and rehabilitation services will increase opportunities for education, employment, and community participation, while reducing long-term dependence on humanitarian assistance.
