To date, progress has been slow on this projec. The need for clean water continues to be dire. As such, we are combining efforts with Rural Urban Association to further support supplying Life-Giving Water for a Gambian Village. Your kind donations to date are currently in a savings account until at least ten thousand dollars has been raised and the drilling for the well begins.
Please reach out to Lamin J Ceesay at ruassociation@yahoo.com with any questions, comments and/or support you may want to give. Thank you for you past support and for your future donations to this worthwhile project.

The Need for Donations Continues
By Lamin Ceesay | Project Leader
kids with water filters
The water source for this project is located at the Afang Lang Ceesay Quranic memorization and Islamic studies school. The school was established in 2005 and has a total of about 500 students.
Despite the success made over the years, the school is faced with serious infrastructural challenges, most importantly the lack of clean portable water. There is only one open shallow well in the school used by the children and the community but the condition of the well which surely impacts water quality is far from desirable.
YOUR DONATIONS provided water filters, the arrival of which generated a lot of happiness and hope for the students and the community at large.
NOW, funds are need for a water lifting system to use the water filters. The community is eagerly awaiting this pump to enable them to enjoy clean potable water -- a life-giving necessity for men, women, children and animals.
To those of you who have donated to this project, we once again thank you for your kindness and help. Your continued support will provide clean water to the school and village to ensure that NOONE dies as a result of drinking contaminated water.

Leon sending the filters to Gambia
Water filtration units have been sent to our project in Gambia. Now 150 children will have clean fresh drinking water with the water units that were custom made for Gambia West Africa....due to the generosity of donors for Airline Ambassador's and Clean Water Foundation through our GlobalGiving Project. We are supporting children and their families to have clean fresh drinking water in Gambia West Africa.
We also celebrated sending water units to Gambia Africa at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Center a few weeks ago on our 5-year Anniversary. NOTE the photo taken at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation where we featured one of our custom-made water units that went to Gambia, Africa We continue to fundraise for more water units to supply children and their families with clean fresh drinking water.
Children will be taking the water home to their families. They will be educating their families and the community about clean fresh drinking water and how important it is. Thus, they will be good will ambassadors in the communities of Gambia West Africa ...THANKS TO YOU! We appreciate your continued support for this important project.
