Recreational reading is the key to instilling a love of learning and a desire for knowledge. We have started libraries in 34 orphanages in India supported by World's Children thanks to your kind support. This is bringing the love of reading to approximately 2,745 children. The reports we are getting tell us that the children are very happy about this project. But every library needs to grow. Every gift you give, no matter how small, will help provide additional recreational reading books and reference books for every orphanage supported by World’s Children.
Our executive director recently went to India and took videos of libraries and spoke with children and orphanage administrators about the efficacy of the It Just Takes a Spark Library Campaign. Enjoy the following video. Hear about the libraries from the children and the administrators and see several completed libraries. Once again we thank you. We know you will enjoy this video.
