Dear donors, dear friends
Please find some news about our project Let's talk about health
In our region, NGO specialists note 87% of women under 35, having 2 or 3 children, suffer from various women's diseases. According to statistics, the average age of women dying from female diseases is 37 to 55 years.
After interviewing more than 300 women, we compiled a "social-hygienic" portrait of a woman suffering from female disease and revealed the multi-factor dependence of the women and girls' health on the following factors:
- legislation
- social-economic factors
- medical and organizational factors
- national features
- culture, education
- religion
Using all these factors, we are creating products (brochures, posters and others) that will meet the main challenges of the program.
We have compiled 30 interviews with children's therapists, oncologists, mammologists, gynecologists, midwives, school nurses, specialists from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science, teachers, with the husbands of dead women, with young families, with representatives of NGOs working in the field of women's health programs, with representatives of religious leaders, with lawyers defending women who suffered from improper treatment. These interviews and others, will be used in the materials of the program Let's talk about our health.
Already, while working on the program and products, we see growing interest from young people, volunteers, and especially doctors and educators. Everyone unequivocally says that if it were possible, they would recommend this program be implemented at the state level for schoolchildren throughout the education system.
