This project will disseminate information on women's health issues in Tchetchnia (reproductive health, transmission of HIV and other STDs...) 1-Production of 15 video tutorials, each one about a specific health issue, 2-Appropriation of tools by 300 specialists delegated to disseminate the program 3-Dissemination of the program by 500 students, 200 school pupils, more the 90 representatives of the medical community, around 10 journalists and 20 NGO working with women and youth.
Early marriages, childbirths, insufficient care for the pregnant women, frequent congenital malformations, high mortality rate among mothers and newborns, increase in cancer cases all these testify about the numerous health problems affecting the Chechen women. We would like in cooperation with teachers, medical staff, media, NGO leaders and young volonteers to set up a Program on Women's Health Prevention for about 1000 beneficiaries : school pupils , students, young girls and women.
The program Let's Talk about our Health will consist of video tutorials, documentaries and recommendations brochures realized by NGO leaders, medical staff, journalists and young cinema students. 30 people. Then providing training in women's health for teachers, medical staff, media, NGO leaders with this materials 300 people. They will disseminate program in hospitals, health centers, in schools, in higher education institutes and in NGO working with women and young people.
We will build relationships between specialists, beneficiaries, members of NGO and media will become working relationships. Thanks to their information and training, pupils and students and youth will take care of their health. If this program is accepted by authorities, it will become compulsory for the whole republic. This project may become a model for the other regions of North Caucasus. In one year, we will inform and raise awareness of more than 1,000 women.
