I am Emese Farkas, the managing director of Volunteering Hungary/Onkentes Kozpont Alapitvany. The social impact program of our foundation is to support the elderly who live alone, by visiting volunteers and organizing activities to "replace" the family. Thank you for contributing to the Christmas of the needy elderly we support. From the $258 collected at GlobalGiving, we were able to make the Christmas of 10 elderly people in need more beautiful with the gifts purchased from the amount. In Hungary, 70% of the population over the age of 65 struggles with poverty. And 67% of them are single women, due to the premature death of men due to inadequate health. If you have the opportunity, we would appreciate your regular support so that we can brighten the days of as many elderly people as possible. Thank you very much!
