This is a project where 100 less-privilege elders of Ozuitem in rural area of Abia State are sustained (fed) and oriented for the period of 6 months. Imagine seeing a grand parent slowly starving, whose children are all dead or who has no one to care for and having nothing to feed them. For countless destitute families, this is a grim reality. For every $5.00 you donate you can feed a hungry less-privileged elder for one week.
One of the major challenge of the community is bad road, lack of waters, lack of constant electricity. This challenges affect every member of the community but mostly, it affects the less privileged elders. The less privilege elders who barely walk and work (bad roads) finds it difficult moving from one place to the other in search of food. The little they get spoils within short period of time as they do not have means (Electricity) of preserving it.
This project would solve the above problem through the following means; 1. Provide food for the less privileged elders who bare walk and work. 2. Teach them on the way to preserve their food naturally. 3. Create more volunteers among the youth of the community to always sustain the less privileged elders.
With the amount solicited above, we would sustain 100 less privilege elders and for the period of six months. Meanwhile, like stated above, within this period of six months TFF would create volunteers among the youth of the community who would follow the laid down step even after this six months.
