The demand for skilled construction workers has never been greater, creating excellent career opportunities for individuals seeking stable, well-paying employment. Unlike many occupations that may be impacted by artificial intelligence (AI), hands-on construction trades require practical skills that will continue to be essential for years to come. Our vocational training program provides participants with the opportunity to gain valuable construction experience while serving their communities. As they learn skills such as roofing, drywall, flooring, painting, and other home repair techniques, they help restore safe, secure, and functional homes for disaster survivors who lack the financial resources to recover on their own. By combining the dedication of traditional volunteers with workforce development through vocational training, we are not only preparing individuals for rewarding careers but also fulfilling our mission of making homes home again for Oklahoma families recovering from disasters.
