Life skills training session with Mayama children
Life skills training session with Mayama children

In the last quarter Mayama has been movilizing materials  for the construction of the new center, there are many materials that are required to realize this dream, such as bricks, cement, sand, rebar, wire, nails, among others.

At the same time, Mayama advances in its formative processes, which for the moment are developed in a rented headquarters and in which it carries out a training process with 102 children of generation 6, which is in its second year of formation of the educational model and attends the entrance of a new generation of Mayama children, which is integrated by 150 children from the municipality of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco.

To date, Mayama works to strengthen the children's life skills, enabling them to improve their self-knowledge, the management of emotions and feelings, assertive communication, empathy, interpersonal relationships, conflict management and creative thinking, and addresses with their parents the best practices to strengthen parenting skills and care at home.
