As we prepare to celebrate Mother's Day, we would like to remember millions of women and and girls who are not able to afford their basic needs. Most women and girls especially in poor communties like Kibera slum go through various challenges,, inlcluding but not limited to Early Marriage, all kind of violence, lack of edcuation and lack safe products to use during their menstruation.
We are changing the narrative, after Faith went through the Leadership Development and entrepreneurship program offered by Garden of Hope Foundation. She started a project that bring hope to women and girls in living in Poverty from Kibera slum.
The women empowerment program designed by our alumni has so far supported 20 women and girls, giving them information on sexual reproductive health, teaching them how to use computers. Due to many challenges women and girls face and the fact that they do not have a safe space to talk about their challenges. The program also provide them with safe spaces.
As you celebrate this Mother's Day.I would like to invite you to consider partnering with us in gving hope to many women and girls who have been forceflly married. You can donate today on Behalf or in Memory of any female figure in your life.
