The Language Program for Refugee and Migrant Children continues to expand its impact through targeted new activities. A key recent development is the introduction of Bulgarian language lessons for unaccompanied children accommodated at the “Voenna Rampa” reception center, operated by the State Agency for Refugees. These vulnerable children often arrive without family support and face significant barriers to integration, making language acquisition essential to their well-being and future opportunities.
The lessons are conducted twice a week and are designed to provide practical communication skills, cultural orientation, and emotional support in a safe and inclusive environment. Through interactive methods, games, and visual materials, the program helps children build confidence and feel more connected to their new surroundings.
This initiative not only supports their educational needs but also promotes social inclusion and resilience. Early feedback shows increased engagement, improved communication skills, and a growing sense of stability among participants.
