Ambergris Caye Elementary, a small private school dedicated to quality education in San Pedro Belize. Providing the best education by limiting the classes to a max of 15 students, maintaining low student to teacher ratio. We now provide an education for almost 100 students. Currently, our facility is on rented land. In a community where land is a commodity the future stability of the school depends on being able to purchase the land. Please help us continue to educate for a brighter tomorrow.
Ambergris Caye Elementary is recognized in San Pedro as one of the leaders in education. After having to relocate 10 years ago we still sit on rented land. We have made major improvements to the existing building and built another. So, we are truly vested in this land. On an island, especially a tourist destination, land is a "hot" commodity. Without ownership there is no security we will be able to remain at the current location. Education is the future we need to know we will be stable.
Purchasing this site provides the stability the school needs to continue to function as a provider of quality education in the small island community. Often schools are overcrowded and teachers overwhelmed. Here at Ambergris Caye Elementary each child is given one on one attention with a class maximum of 15 students. Additionally, remedial help is given to children who come to us not up to standard or those who face the world with learning disabilities or special needs. ACES needs to continue!
Quality education will have an effect for generations to come. You cannot have a more profound impact on the future than educating the children of today. Teaching children how to become better citizens in tomorrow's world is the best legacy we can provide. Securing this site for Ambergris Caye Elementary will assure its existence for years to come. Thereby, securing a better education and a better future for multitudes of children who will receive the best education possible.
