Discovering confidence through books

Hi,

Hope you are doing well!

With your support, Agastya's project in (Provide labs and books for children in Kuppam) has been impacting the lives of disadvantaged rural children in Kuppam.

Agastya shows underprivileged children a wider world, exposing them to some of the benefits of an education. Agastya has taken up the challenge, working to bring under privilege children back into mainstream academic programs.

With your support, Agastya collected 17,466 books in Library upto 31 st Sept 2017. Library contributes to the creation of an environment that stimulates and paves the way for learning.
Library Activity Statistics: Total 4,258 Exposures in this quarter July-Sept’2017
Digital Library Activity Statistics:Total 1,964 Exposures in this quarter July-Sept’ 2017.
Following activities were conducted:

Sentence formation
vocabulary building,
book research and story writing through “Pop-Up book” activity,
Origami paper designs (Different caps, puppets, gift box, and mini book),
Characterization, and role play through Puppetry.

The aim of the program is to cultivate the habit of reading among children. You are truly bringing a change in the lives of children in Kuppam. Looking forward for your continued support for the program to benefit more children in Kuppam.
