• Expanding Horizons with Books: We have welcomed a total of 859 new books into our collection. These diverse literary offerings promise to enrich the minds and imaginations of our readers.
• Cataloguing Progress: In the first quarter of 2024, we diligently catalogued 150 books, ensuring efficient organization and easy access to our growing repository of knowledge.
• Quality Assurance through Book Grading: With a focus on maintaining the standard of our collection, 80 books underwent thorough grading procedures, guaranteeing that each volume meets our library's quality benchmarks.
• Fostering Engagement through Library Activities: Our commitment to creating a dynamic learning environment was exemplified by the successful Repeat Visit sessions held during this quarter, facilitating deeper engagement with our resources.
• Community Engagement and Usage Statistics: The Vidya Jyothi Library continues to be a hub of learning for students, teachers, and our dedicated staff. In this quarter alone, we welcomed 3600 students, 250 teachers, and 49 staff members, alongside 17 other visitors, demonstrating the wide-reaching impact of our initiatives.
• Educational Workshops: An inspiring workshop on "Rebuilding Stories with Selected Images" engaged government teachers, stimulating creativity and critical thinking among participants.
• Promoting Literacy Beyond Borders: Through our Community Library initiatives, we have extended our outreach, gathering valuable feedback from visitors and facilitating enriching community visits to the Kuppam Campus.
