Provide labs and books for children in Kuppam

Hope you are doing well!

With your support, Agastya's project (Provide labs and books for children in Kuppam) has been impacting the lives of many disadvantaged rural children in Kuppam.Agastya shows underprivileged children a wider world, exposing them to the benefits of education.

The aim of the program is to cultivate the habit of reading among children. Library contributes to the creation of an environment that stimulates and paves the way for learning. 

1. Library Activity Statistics: Total 2,300 student exposures* in this quarter Oct-Dec’2017.
2. Digital Library Activity Statistics: Total 1792 student  exposures in this quarter Oct-Dec’ 2017.
3. Following activities were conducted:

• Sentence formation, book research and story writing through “Pop-Up book” activity.
• Origami paper designs (Different caps, puppets, gift box, and mini book).
• Characterization, dialogue narration, and role play through Puppetry.
• Comic story writing (recognize the difference between Original Text & Dialogue)

(*Exposure: An exposure is a measure of Agastya’s reach. It is a count of number of times Agastya has face to face interaction with (child, teacher). Each exposure is 2-3 hours in duration.)
