The 2020 Knights in White Lycra Go-Go Run is working in tandem with YouMeWe NPO to provide funding for Tokyo area children's homes. Throughout November, run or jog a minimum distance of 55km (55 means "go go" in Japanese). Measure your distance using a GPS watch or a GPS activity tracker app on your smartphone and upload to KIWL's club for the event.
There are over 30,000 children in care homes throughout Tokyo, many of whom have suffered abuse and are facing mental and physical disabilities. Knights in White Lycra is partnering with YouMeWe NPO to give children the chance for a brighter future, through teaching them skills such as computer and financial literacy, and providing a platform for English language learning.
