Driving the vision to the destination, to many people, they think a lot of resources need to be in place. Without required resources, most of us do not takeoff with our visions. Here at Uganda Youth Skills Training Organization (UYSTO), we value any bit of resources before us.
Our fundraising drive here at GlobalGiving, is about raising funds and buy land and construct a technical vocational training center for the disadvantaged youth in our catchment areas. This is still a long way to go, but with the small land given to us by the church, where we have managed to construct on a feathered timber structure, something big is coming out of it, as its said in the bible that "out of the eater, there came something sweet" With this little land we have managed to train youth who have already shown impact in our communities and at personal levels.
Anord, a student of a few months with us at UYSTO, is taking every one crazy at the center. This guy's artistic skills, combined with carpentry skills, are digging deep into his customers pockets, use of local materials like stones, together with wood he is making wonders and miracles. Anord's customers, UYSTO guarantees you, value for your money, it’s our committement that the products from our training center though produced by students, our international carpentry instructor, from Malawi, make sure that products of good quality are put into customers hands.
As one may be still wondering how Anord does this, there comes in Viola with her wonderful accuracy produced products, that defeated many peoples’ thinking, commenting, no, this is factory made. She loughs, paused and dramatically asks them to place an order, two weeks after, to collect their projects. Everyone is amused and comments "with this fantastic work, from this small feathered timber workshop, moreover half of it occupied by young ladies, something special in this workshop"
Wondering and folding their arms around the chest, one places an order on trial and puts a comment "this would be a guanine production coalition " for economic growth" no I have to bring my Andrew for this training.
