Malaria is mosquito-Vitality lethal disease. If the victim of malaria doesn't get proper treatment in time it may take her breath. Malaria is an epidemic which has been victimizing human beings for thousands of years. According to a survey, more than 10 crore people are victims of the disease. Insecticides are used to vanish the mosquitoes but it has harmful effects on both human beings and environment. Malaria has become an epidemic all over the world, particularly in slums, lower and rural regions it has brought death to many people.
To fight against malaria, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the financial support of Global Giving Foundation initialised "Kill Malaria, Save Human Life", under which mosquito nets were distributed. The primary objective of the project is to make the society aware of malaria. In this order, mosquito nets were distributed to 15 poor families in slums and rural areas. The activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organised awareness program through workshops and posters at different places in rural areas and slums and apprised the community about the measures for protection and prevention of malaria. People participated in the program proactively and gained important information to be Vigilant of malaria.
Under "Kill Malaria, Save Human Life", The organisation's activists with the help of localites made the surroundings and handpumps clean. DDT powder was sprinkled into collected dirty water and digs were filled so that rain water would not collect into them. Temporary drainages were laid to get rid of the problem of collecting water comes out from every rural house. The residents of slums were motivated to be clean. Now the positive effects of the program can be seen in the society. Now people are getting conscious and aware of malaria and the beneficiary families who got mosquito nets are getting sweet dreams. All beneficiary families thanked to Global Giving and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and took oath to make the community aware of malaria in the near future.
