A Mother's Relief in the Rainy Season....

By Dr Deepak Sharma | CEO

Dear Patron, Namaste!

At RSKS India, we capture real-life grassroots stories of courage and transformation made possible by your support, bringing hope, dignity, and brighter futures to life.

My name is Champa (Name Changed), and I am 29 years old, a mother of three children living in a slum where life is full of daily struggles. During the rainy season, our biggest fear is not just hunger, but illness. Stagnant water collects around our homes, and mosquitoes become a constant threat. Every year, diseases like dengue and malaria spread quickly, and as a mother, I live in constant fear for my children’s health.

We cannot afford expensive treatments, so even a small illness becomes a heavy burden for our family. Many nights, I stayed awake, worried about mosquito bites and the risk they carried. Watching my children sleep without protection filled my heart with anxiety and helplessness.

Then, one day, hope came through Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, who organized a Mosquito Net Distribution and Awareness program in our slum. They not only gave us mosquito nets but also taught us how to protect our families by keeping our surroundings clean and preventing stagnant water.

When I received the mosquito net, it felt like a blessing. That night, for the first time, my children slept peacefully without being disturbed by mosquitoes. I felt a deep sense of relief and comfort watching them safe and protected.

Today, our lives have changed. My children are healthier, and my worries have reduced. I also share this knowledge with my neighbors so that more families can stay safe. I am truly grateful to Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan for bringing protection, awareness, and peace into our lives.

With heartfelt gratitude and warm regards,

Team RSKS India
