The cases of mosquito prone diseases have been increasing every year and people become victims of such diseases. People in rural areas and urban slums are easy victims of the diseases and the major reason behind this is unawareness.
Rajsthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan put its efforts to make the community aware in the slums. First, RSKS identified the slums of the city and then organized awareness campaign at three distinct places in which men and women participated with curiousity and enthusiasm. The Team RSKS informed the localites about mosquito prone diseases and ways to keep safe from such diseases. The Team also conveyed message to the community to keep surroundings clean and hygiene.
RSKS, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors distributed mosquito nets in 3 mosquitoes affected areas and almost 150 families got benefitted from the program. Now, the beneficiary families have sound sleep at night using mosquito nets without any fear of mosquitoes. The localites appreciated the efforts made by RSKS and thanked GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors from the bottom of the heart.
