In today’s world, pollution is spreading all around us. Of these are major mosquito-borne diseases. Due to these many diseases like malaria, Dengue etc. are spreading. Mosquitoes live in polluted environment and increase in their number. Lack of awareness many people get become prey. At the right time not getting treatment they lose their lives.
Malaria abolition program is being run by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan in collaboration with it’s associated organization GlobalGiving. Under this project awareness is being spreaded through the workshop by RSKS organization in slum area. In this sequence awareness workshop was organized by RSKS organization in three different urban slum area. In this workshop people of slum were sensitized about diseases caused by mosquitoesand primary ways of treatment and prevention were explained. Territorial also showed interest in the workshop and asked the questions about cleanliness during the workshop from the team RSKS. After knowing these residents of the area started cleanliness campaign and stagnant water was cleaned.
During this program , mosquito net were distributed in mosquito-affected area by the RSKS organization. Using the mosquito nets beneficiary families will be able to take restful sleep. After getting mosquito net,smiling on the face of the beneficiary family which can’t explained by the words. All residents of the area congratulated the RSKS team and thanked the donors.
