On the morning of July 4 at 9:48 a.m., as floodwaters were still rising, the Community Foundation launched the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
In the hours and days that followed, donations poured in from across Texas and the nation — from major institutions to kids’ lemonade stands.
This immediate response showed the power of community in action and set the stage for one of the fastest and largest philanthropic efforts in CFTHC’s history.
