The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund supports relief and rebuilding efforts after the flood of July 4, 2025. Your generosity helps our neighbors recover. The Community Foundation will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. We are committed to channeling resources to trusted organizations working tirelessly to help our neighbors.
Kerr County has faced devastating flooding that resulted in loss of life, displaced residents, damaged homes and businesses, and strained local resources. Many families are struggling to recover without sufficient support. The community needs immediate and flexible funding to repair critical roads, rebuild communities, replace lost belongings and assist vulnerable residents who lack access to traditional aid.
In times of crisis-whether a mass tragedy or a natural disaster-our role is to quickly and responsibly direct resources to where they're needed most. We deployed our fund before 10 a.m. on July 4 to ensure immediate relief. This flexible funding will continue to address urgent needs as they arise supporting the community's recovery in a timely and effective way.
This project will help Kerr County rebuild stronger and safer reducing the impact of future floods. Long-term it will foster a more resilient community prepared for emergencies support economic stability by helping families return to work sooner and strengthen local partnerships to ensure faster coordinated responses to future disasters.
