We are pleased to communicate that this program is progressing well. 193 families are on their way to securing for themselves and the children in their care, a future with opportunites that are bright and filled with hope.
The Captivating Foster Family Micro-Loans Program started with the specific emphasis of helping children orphaned by AIDS become secure in new family - their foster family. Families taking up this program would only qualify if they were in a position of hardship and already fostering a child (with our aim being to stabilize the situation financially) or a foster family indicating they were willing to foster a child if they could become more financially stable. The GREAT NEWS is that 195 children are benefiting from this program, and 44 of them are new orphans taken in by families thanks in part to this program.
