Urgent Appeal: Help Us Protect 120 Children – Time is Running Out
Despite posting this project months ago, we have yet to raise the necessary funds to address a critical and urgent problem.
Education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty – but for 120 children in South Africa, that opportunity is slipping away.
A preschool recently adopted by our organization was on the verge of closing due to lack of funding. During inspection, we uncovered a grave threat – the roof, made of hazardous asbestos, is deteriorating rapidly and poses a severe risk to the health and safety of the children. The roof must be replaced immediately.
Without these urgent repairs, the school will be forced to shut down, leaving 120 children without access to early education – their only hope for a brighter future.
We need to raise $44,960 to repair the roof and build safe, new classrooms.
Every rainfall worsens the damage, and asbestos exposure continues to endanger both students and staff. We cannot let this continue.
Your support will transform this preschool into a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and dream without fear. By replacing the roof and expanding the classrooms, you will help secure the future of these children and give them the opportunity to thrive.
Act now. Every dollar brings us closer to saving this school and protecting the children who depend on it.
