The Girl Child Foundation Uganda continues to advocate for equal educational opportunities for girls in rural communities.
An important part of this work is addressing the practical challenges that can interfere with girls’ participation in school, including limited access to sanitary pads.
GIFU is currently appealing to donors for support to enable the distribution of sanitary pads to rural school girls.
For families struggling with poverty, purchasing menstrual hygiene products can be difficult, leaving girls without the supplies they need to manage their periods comfortably.
Through donor support, GIFU hopes to provide essential sanitary pads while promoting menstrual hygiene education and encouraging girls to remain focused on their studies.
This initiative supports our broader mission of empowering girls and creating opportunities for them to build better futures.
A contribution toward sanitary pads is an investment in a girl's dignity, education, and future.
