Every year, Thailand’s rainy season brings heavy rainfall and flooding to communities across the country. This year, Mercy Farm has also been affected, creating significant challenges for the Mercy Centre team as we care for the teenage boys who call it home.
The recent floods brought water levels as high as chest height in some areas and waist height in others. Travel became extremely difficult, and transporting essential supplies was a challenge. The floodwaters also damaged parts of the boys’ house and surrounding facilities, leaving areas in need of repair and restoration.
For the children who call Mercy Centre home, a roof over their heads means far more than shelter. It represents safety, stability, love, and the comfort of knowing they have a place where they belong.
Despite these challenges, our team has worked tirelessly to keep the boys safe and maintain a secure living environment. We continue to assess the damage, respond to the effects of the flooding, and plan the necessary repairs. Throughout this difficult time, we have done our very best to protect the children and ensure that their home remains a place of care and security.
Your support will help us repair the flood-damaged areas, restore the boys’ living environment, and ensure that Mercy Farm remains a safe place where they can grow, learn, and look forward to a brighter future.
Stand with Mercy Centre
We warmly invite you to stand with us as we care for the boys and restore their home after the floods.
Every contribution, every act of kindness, and every shared message can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can help ensure that these children continue to have a safe home, a caring community, and the opportunity to build a better future.
Together, we can restore their home, protect their future, and keep hope alive.
Thank you for standing with Mercy Centre and our children during these challenging times. Your kindness and generosity give us strength to keep moving forward.
