Keep 200 At-risk Children in School in Uganda

JENGA TAIFA COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION continues to work toward its goal of helping 200 at-risk children from low-income communities in Uganda remain in school. Although the project has not yet received funding, the need it seeks to address remains important. Many families struggle to meet the costs of school fees, meals, uniforms, and learning materials, putting children at risk of missing school or dropping out.

The planned project will provide educational support to help children attend school consistently and continue learning. It will also introduce school-based tree planting and climate awareness activities, encouraging children to care for their environment while building a stronger foundation for their future.

At this stage, our priority is to mobilize the resources needed to begin implementation. Once sufficient funding is secured, we aim to identify participating children and work toward delivering the planned support. We remain committed to this initiative because every child deserves an opportunity to learn, develop their potential, and contribute positively to their community.
