Dear Friends,
We cannot wait to share these good news and support that has poured in the last three months. What a wonderful way to wrap up 2015 and welcome 2016!
Our efforts, hard work and presence, in Kolkata, in the field of Information Technology has not only been recognized through awards but also has been covered by one of the largest circulation newspaper – USA Today. It is no ordinary task to operate our technology-enabled programs across seven states through 150 training centers. West Bengal as one of the most poor and agriculture driven state, has a high percentage of unemployed youth. But Anudip’s, and its sister organization, iMerit’s intervention programs are not only improving socio-economic conditions of these youth but also enhancing the IT workforce in Kolkata.
Renewed Support
Every time our existing funders and supporters extend their funding, it fills us with an immense sense of gratitude and confidence in our program and its vision. Omidyar Network (ON), one of the largest philanthropic investment firm, and Michael and Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF) has not only supported us through the years but will continue to do so for the next three years. Anudip looks forward to meeting their expectations and deliverables.
New State, New Partnership and another challenge
Though with every renewed contract with our old partner gives us confidence yet it is the new challenge and partnership that makes our heart racing. Hoping towards a long-term association with Citi Foundation, USA, Anudip has entered into its first phase of its technology driven program in Andhra Pradesh. This collaboration not only has given us a chance to extend our technology-enabled programs to another state but also work towards more structured program objectives. Financial literacy, economic stability, upliftment in their standard of living, gender equality and new economy skilled workforce is what Anudip team will focus on achieving through this collaboration.
We cannot thank enough our present and new partners for showing their support and faith in our programs and its services towards the underprivileged.
Gratefully,
Anudip Team
