Happy new year!
Anudip begins 2013 on a high note with its first expansion into a new Indian state, Jharkhand. We are on track to meet our committed training/placement number of 5000 for 2012-13. But the most exciting news is Anudip's receipt of a grant of $60,000 from Bank of America for our entrepreneurship program, which is a testament to our work with the marginalized rural poor.
All programs of Anudip's integrated economic empowerment model -- training, placement, entrepreneurship and projects -- continue on a serious upward swing and our major task as managers is to manage growth.
For a short representative video showcasing an entrepreneur group, trained and incubated by Anudip, please visit this site.
In the current quarter, Anudip will expand into another state, Odisha (formerly Orissa), continuing its commitment to serving the marginalized poor in eastern India, the least served region of the country.
We depend on your continued support, so do make an effort and contribute what you can.
With warm regards
Dipak Basu
