Anudip's Impact Report for FY 2024-25

By Dipak Basu | Founder, Board Chairman

In the financial year 2024–25, Anudip Foundation continued to make remarkable strides toward its vision of upskilling 1 million at-risk youth by 2030, and uplift the future of work. During the year, 42,500 students were trained in digital and industry-relevant skills—53% of them women, reflecting the organization’s strong focus on gender inclusion. With innovation at its core and resilience in action, Anudip adapted to shifting workforce demands and emerging technologies to drive inclusive, sustainable impact at scale.

Impact

Anudip’s programs brought transformative change to underserved communities across India.

  • 24,000+ students were placed in jobs, achieving a 55% placement rate despite nationwide hiring slowdowns, particularly in the IT sector.
  • 2,500 Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) were trained and placed in dignified roles through customized skilling interventions.
  • 7,500+ construction workers were trained with digital literacy, boosting their employability in semi-formal sectors.
  • The AI Academy trained 6,500+ students, equipping them with skills in Artificial Intelligence, data analytics, and automation technologies.

Two significant events showcased Anudip’s leadership in workforce transformation:

  1. “Reskilling for Tomorrow: AI & Workforce 2.0”, hosted in Kolkata, convened key stakeholders from government, academia, and industry to address the automation-induced skill gap.
  2. Anudip participated in a landmark summit in Saratoga, California, highlighting the need to empower women and underrepresented communities in AI. These platforms advanced Anudip’s agenda of building a digitally inclusive and equitable future.

Strategic Partnerships

In 2024–25, Anudip joined AVPN’s AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific, supported by Google.org and ADB, as a strategic partner. Through this collaboration, Anudip will develop localized GenAI training, lead Train-the-Trainer programs, and drive inclusion in AI across healthcare, hospitality, education, and agriculture sectors. The year also marked expanded partnerships with Accenture, JPMC, MSLT, and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, enabling Anudip to scale its Deeptech Academy—projected to triple in size over three years.

Volunteering Programs

Anudip’s volunteering ecosystem thrived, engaging 23 corporate partners across 5 cities.

  • 11K+ students were mentored.
  • 1,200+ hours of volunteering were recorded.
Notable collaborations included programs with Tata AIA, Bank of America, Microsoft, Goodera, and Tata ProEngage, covering topics from communication skills and digital safety to public speaking and AI awareness.

Expansion and Outreach

Anudip opened 22 new centers, increasing access to livelihood training for marginalized communities.

Awards & Recognition

The year was marked by several prestigious honors:

  • Mahatma Award for Social Good 2024
  • CSR NGO of the Year 2025 at ASM CSR Summit
  • Best NGO Leader of the Year 2025 awarded to CEO Monisha Banerjee
  • Great Place to Work® (2024–25) certification for the fourth consecutive year
  • Silver Plaque – “20 Years or More” by ACCESS Development Services
  • Best Livelihood Project Award at Prabhat Foundation’s Anniversary

Anudip Foundation continues to stand with India's dreamers—having already bridged the digital divide for over 500,000 underserved youth in 18 years, ensuring no one is left behind on the path to a future-ready workforce.
