Dear donors and friends of Shauri Yako Youth Support Centre,
Thank you for your continuous support of our job skills training and youth empowerment programs. Skill training is our strategic tool for empowering underprivileged and marginalized young people by creating livelihood opportunities.
Our model of collaborating with the construction industry on training and ensuring jobs for trainees allows youth to acquire practical trade skills and work experience during training and jobs with a sustainable income upon graduation. Our tailoring program graduates have gone on to start small tailoring businesses to provide for themselves and their families, making widely needed items like school uniforms, work wear and house curtains. SYSC provides program participants with business skills training and help them access loans from financial institutions to start their own small businesses.
Construction Skills Update:
On behalf of SYSC community and people we serve, thank you very much. Asante sana. We remain hopeful for what we can achieve together.
