Edana primary is located in Dodol Laikipia county an arid and drought classified region by the government. The source of income to the residence is peasant pastrolism and farming. As poverty eradication N G O we intend to raise funds to buy school uniform to these children. By doing so, the parents will safe for other hardly got meals, clothes and basic necessities. We shall buy two pairs of uniforms and build two classrooms for pp 1 &2 (nursery school). the fundraising period is October to Dec
The main problem is poverty. The only source of income is peasant pastrorist. Basic needs are hard to get and children sometimes go to school without breakfast or only taking a cup of tea. The children move longer distance to reach to school and some have torn uniforms. Most children have only a pair of uniform. Some goes to school barefooted and needs help. We therefore come to their rescue.
This project will ease the parents burden of trying to budget the little amounts they can get for many needs. By buying uniforms and building the two classrooms these parents and children will uplift their lifestyle hence parent child benefit
The project will provide over 300 children with uniform which will uplift from poverty and the two classrooms shall be in use for over 40 years as its permanent building
