In rural Uganda, girls & women face significant barriers to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, perpetuating cycles of poverty and limiting community growth. We're empowering 500 women to drive change through skills training, entrepreneurship support, and healthcare access. This will benefit 2,000+ family members, promote gender equality, and foster sustainable development in their communities. Your support will help women overcome challenges, build resilience, and lead progress.
In local communities in Uganda, women and girls face extreme challenges: 70% of girls drop out of school due to menstruation-related issues, and women face high maternal mortality rates (336 deaths/100,000 live births). Limited access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunities traps families in poverty. Your support will empower 500 women and girls with skills, healthcare, and opportunities, impacting 2,000+ family members and fostering sustainable community growth.
This project will provide vocational training, business grants, and healthcare access to 500 women, enabling them to start income-generating activities and support their families. We'll also provide sanitary pads, hygiene training, and mentorship to 500 girls, helping them stay in school and pursue their dreams. Additionally, we'll establish safe spaces for counseling and support, addressing gender-based violence.
Empowering 500 women and girls will have a ripple effect, benefiting 2,000+ family members and fostering sustainable community growth. As women gain economic independence and girls pursue education, we'll see reduced poverty rates, improved health outcomes, and a new generation of leaders driving positive change in Uganda.
