Dear friend,

Happy New Year to you.

As we bid farewell to 2023, we are delighted to share with you the highlights and accomplishments that have shaped the journey of Grow Ghana. Your unwavering support has been the driving force behind our success, and we are grateful for the shared commitment to our mission.

Partnership with a new school

We established a new school partnership within our community to extend IT and soft skills training to a greater number of students. Presently, we are delivering training to approximately 100 students weekly.

Addition of new computer devices

Due to the growing number of students in our IT program, we procured new devices and replaced malfunctioning computers. This initiative has significantly enhanced the efficiency of our program, enabling us to offer training to a larger number of students.

Familiarizing Students with Professional Workplace setting

We organized a field trip to an IT company in Ghana, providing students with firsthand exposure to the real working world and offering insights into what to expect in the IT industry. During the visit, students had the valuable opportunity to engage with IT professionals, receiving guidance and motivation to help shape their career paths.

Introducing students to a Novel Programming Language

We have crafted a Python curriculum designed specifically for older students mostly in Senior High. In our efforts to prepare students for employable roles in the IT industry, we aim to furnish them with essential skills and tools demanded by the job market.

Engaging students in workshops and seminars

We organize two workshops at our office on Women's Day: one focusing on women's empowerment and the other on career development. These sessions not only provide students with valuable IT skills but also empower them for the future.

As we step into 2024, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. With your continued support, we aim to expand our impact and reach even greater heights in fulfilling our mission.

Thank you for being an integral part of the Grow Ghana community and for helping us create positive change.
