Fruitful start in 2020 - and so much more to come!

Dear Donors, Supporters & Followers of Grow Ghana!

Wow, that was an exciting start in the year 2020.

Thanks to your support, we were able to hire an additional and very dedicated IT trainer - Ezra - who supports the team now full time. We were also able to move to a shared office space as part of our cooperation with The Kokrobitey Institute. Our plan for this partnership is to build more educational programs, attracting more volunteers and expand our knowledge together.

With this new structures in place, we were already able to empower more students with vital IT skills. At this point, two additional classes joined our program, that counts now 50 developing IT talents in our bi-weekly, structured training program. Thanks to the donation of the Codingschule Düsseldorf and our former volunteer Heiko, we also doubled the number of Raspberry Pies and can now provide one device for one students in most of our classes.

End of February, the construction work on the new IT-Lab eventually continued. After completion, our students will have heavily improved opportunities to learn in a quiet and peaceful surrounding. With the current status of donations, we can equip the IT-Lab with a proper roof, a solid basement and connect it to electricity. This allows us to get started in an improvised way. But we will need more support to bring in furniture, doors, windows and further teaching equipment.

Thank you for your continous support. We will keep you posted!
Yours in development work,

The Team of Grow Ghana
