Amplifying Peacebuilding in the Media

ALLMEP aims to transform media narratives related to Israel and Palestine by amplifying the voices of peacebuilders and civil society actors. Through podcasts, films, and social media, we desire to shift the focus from polarization and division to solutions-oriented storytelling. By countering misinformation and dehumanizing narratives, we provide a platform for Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders to share their work, fostering a more informed and engaged global audience. What we have achieved with your support:

• Podcast Production - Expanding Public Discourse
  We are continuing to produce episodes of the Groundwork Podcast. One of the recent episodes featured the Tzedek Centers, a civic engagement initiative challenging political apathy in Israel. The episode explores how sustained grassroots activism drives systemic change, offering listeners a deeper understanding of peacebuilding efforts. 

• Educational Film - For the Future: Women in Peacebuilding
  In conjunction with the 25th anniversary of UNSCR 1325 and the launch of our Women’s Leadership Network, we released For the Future: Women in Peacebuilding, a short film profiling three prominent women activists—May Pundak, Rula Daood, and Nivine Sandouka. The film highlights women's leadership in peace efforts and will be officially launched on April 6, with pre-screenings in European capitals, New York, and Los Angeles. • Strengthening Communications and Outreach
  Recognizing the need for sustained visibility, we are in the process of hiring a new team member focused on media and communications. This role enhances our ability to engage with global audiences and increase outreach efforts.

• This season of the Groundwork podcast continues with episodes featuring underreported peacebuilding initiatives.
• Public screenings and discussions for For the Future: Women in Peacebuilding, increasing awareness of women’s leadership in conflict resolution.
• Strengthened media strategy to further counter misinformation and elevate peacebuilding narratives.
